For the shows on Lucky Peterson’s most recent UK tour, drummer Raul Valdes borrowed a Westgarth Walnut and Ash snare. This is what he said. “I am not the most fluent speaker in English but it didn’t take me long to love this snare. It has great tone, build and quality and it looks great”

Raul Valdes is a renowned Cuban drummer who fills the drum seat for Lucky Peterson and Matt Schofield among others. In January 2020, at the Annual NAMM show in California, the world’s largest trade event for music products, he played at the show’s party jam with Joey Landreth, Matt Schofield, Josh Smith, Artur Menenzes, Seth Rosenbloom and Adam Miller. Now that was some line-up!!
